| In the Cote D’ Ivoire SCI contracted the services of the detailed design and construction supervision of the buildings and the procurement of training machineries of a Mechanized Agricultural Training Center for rural youths which sought to use the training center as a venue for the provision of knowledge and the development of skills for mechanized paddy farming. This is government’s way of translating into concrete terms its policy on accelerating rural countryside development through ensuring food security of the populace by embarking on a laboratory-setting type of training on mechanized farming for its rural youths that will result in the assimilation of positive farming values on modern agriculture. The training facility is located 130 kilometers west of Abijan, the capital city of Cote D’ Ivoire. |
